I have completed the manuscript for a children's picture book and am currently looking for an illustrator. The book is titled The Legend of Chunhyang, and is an English adaptation of the Korean folktale. If you're interested in illustrating this work, please look up Chunhyang's legend, Korean history, etc., and draw the way you picture any scene of the story. I am thinking pen-and-ink with watercolors as the medium, but I'm open to other forms if someone's illustration blows me away.
Simply upload your draft to dA and send me a link. If I think your artwork is a good match for the picture book, we can talk further about contracts.
Payment: I am direct-publishing this book through Kindle, so I do not have money to pay up front. We would draw up a contract awarding the illustrator 50% of the royalty profits, so if you are great at marketing, this would be the perfect job!
