My first attempt at text art. It took me forever because I'm not what you'd call "proficient" in Word.

The text is a poem I wrote for my girlfriend, though I haven't shown it to her because I'm scared she'll think it's too sappy!

The piece has two purposes: 1) to show that same-sex relationships are fundamentally the same as heterosexual relationships, as I'm sure most of the straight people reading this would do the same things for their significant other. And 2) to go against the conventional "love poem" that is all about fairytale romance and unrealistic expectations. I listed things I would really do for my girlfriend, and have done before. Those little gestures are what love is to me.

As for the playing Ping-Pong, going camping, and watching soccer bit? I don't enjoy any of those things unless I'm with her and watching her enjoy them. Haha, sometimes love is sacrifice.
